The Northville Library continues to provide paper income tax forms and instructions for our patrons. Federal and State tax forms are expected to arrive at the Library throughout January and will be available near the copy machine on the upper level. Patrons can also print forms from the IRS site at home or in the Library for $.10 per page.
Due to the growth in electronic filing and other free filing options, and to help reduce costs, the IRS and the State of Michigan will no longer mail paper packages to individuals and businesses. These packages contained forms, schedules and instructions for filing.
Free Tax Assistance for Seniors
The Northville Community Senior Center offers free tax form preparation through AARP tax-Aide, on Thursdays beginning February 2 - April 12 between 9 am and 3 pm. Call 248-349-4140 for an appointment.
